Disembark from MV Balmoral and enjoy a stroll or train trip along the famous Southend Pier, the longest pleasure pier in the world. At the other end find miles of seafront to explore, tempting Rossi ice creams, plentiful amusement arcades and windswept palm trees.
If you have the whole day, why not take the train to Leigh-on-Sea, full of independent shops and cafes and famous for the historical fishing community of Old Leigh. Stop and enjoy some fresh shellfish or a drink in one of the quaint local pubs!

Southend Victoria Railway Station (0.8 miles), connections to London/Wickford/Chelmsford.
