Being Wales’ second largest city Swansea offers a variety of interesting attractions as well as providing a base for exploring the wider geography of West Wales. Attractions include the National Waterfront Museum and the nearby resort of Mumbles.

* Special notice: There is no access to Swansea Docks by private car. Please join our coaches at the Fabian Way Park & Ride for transfer to MV Balmoral. Passengers should arrive at Fabian Way 30 minutes before scheduled departure times.

Access:  Directions to Fabian Way Park & Ride – M4 Junction 42 / A483. Follow signs for Swansea and Park & Ride.

Car parking: Park & Ride Car Park [£2.50 all day].

Public Transport: The No. 502 bus from St Mary's Square in the City Centre and the No. 8 from Swansea Bus Station, (term time only) go directly into the Park & Ride. There are several other services to Fabian Way, Port Tennant, near the Park & Ride.  There is a frequent bus service from Swansea High Street railway station to the Bus Station.

    Join buses at the Fabian Way Park+Ride [small parking charge] to Balmoral at Swansea Ferryport for this special sailing across the Bristol Channel.     Come aboard to experience the meeting of two important, historic ships! Cruise down the Channel to call at the North Devon resort of Ilfracombe, continuing along the beautiful Exmoor coast. The ship will meet Paddle Steamer Waverley as she leaves Minehead to cruise Porlock Bay. The ship will retrace the same route before sailing back to Swansea in the evening.
