Lydney

Located on the West Bank of the River Severn, Lydney has a picturesque little harbour where you can board Balmoral for trips around the upper reaches of the River Severn and to view the famous bridges. It makes a good base for exploring the extensive Forest of Dean and the nearby Dean Forest Railway.
